Welcome to the World Kipa Day community.

We believe that every human being is born good.
We believe that we all descend from Adam and Eve, and therefore, despite our differences, we are all human.
We believe that in every nation, good people are the majority.

History has proven time and again:
in wars, the majority of society’s members are not interested.

Peace, however, does not come into being on its own.
It requires collective will.
We must say it together, visibly and clearly.

This is why World Kipa Day was created.

On this day – regardless of our nation, culture, or religion – we express together:
we choose peace over violence.

Why the kippah?
The kippah is a symbol of humility and moral responsibility: an acknowledgment that there is an order greater than ourselves, and that human beings are not above everything.
It does not exclude; it reminds us that we are responsible for one another.

And why the pomegranate?
The pomegranate is a common denominator across cultures and religions.
Many seeds – one fruit.
Many people – one humanity.
It is a symbol of abundance, life, and unity.

This community was created to:
• form a community of people who want peace,
• say together what the majority truly believes,
• and make it visible: the good are in the majority.

If you also believe that peace is not naivety, but a shared decision,
then this is your place.

Peace from Hungary to the World.
Wear the kippah. Wear peace.
We stand against antisemitism.
